Songwriting is at the core of Dancing on Lego’s focus. Every track
has its own identity, with vocals adapting to the mood rather than
following a formula. This same mindset shapes the DJ sets–always
in motion, always responding to the moment.
The release Before My Eyes earlier this year marked a turning point. A collaboration with Goom Gum, it featured two versions alongside a standout remix from Super Flu. The track reached number one on Beatport’s Afro House chart and climbed to fourth on Melodic House & Techno Releases. With support from Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Alok, Rossi, Joris Voorn, and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, it became a moment of real momentum.
After being picked up by the legendary duo Super Flu in 2023, two
collaborations followed. After proving their talent with All Good
Alright and Dear Friend, further releases landed on Monaberry and
Didschn.
In 2024, the debut EP Who’s The Rhythm was released on the
renowned Spanish label Stereo Productions, run by DJ Chus. With a strong start, the progress continues to unfold. The year closed with a release on Elements, the label run by close friend and mentor Jonas Rathsman.
In 2025, Family Portraits was soft-launched—a new space for
collaboration and creative exchange through remixes and mixtapes. The track Sun is Shining was released on Together We’re Louder, supporting a cause bigger than the dancefloor. That same year, a relocation to Berlin marked the beginning of the next chapter.
From residencies at AE:RIAL and Never Ending Project in
Gothenburg to clubs and festivals across different cities, Dancing on Lego keeps moving. There’s no interest in staying in one place — and neither is the music.
