The evening begins with Efterklang: The Makedonium Band – a 2024 documentary directed by Andreas Johnsen. This heartwarming and adventurous film captures the Danish trio Efterklang’s bold journey to North Macedonia, where they had only one week to collaborate with local Macedonian musicians and perform in front of the striking Makedonium Freedom Monument. The film beautifully showcases the unifying power of music, as the band creates something magical from a place of courage and curiosity, overcoming the unknown with passion and dedication.
Following the screening, get ready for a live performance by Efterklang, who will bring their new music from their upcoming album Things We Have In Common to the stage.
