12 Tablecloths Closing Ceremony

Join the Trinidad History Museum for the closing ceremony of 12 Tablecloths – Trinidad, held at the Historic Santa Fe Trail Museum off Chestnut Street. Created by award-winning artist and historian Chloé Duplessis, this powerful exhibition honors the legacy of Black women and the role of domestic service in Southeastern Colorado.

The evening will feature an artist talk and live weaving demonstration by Duplessis, as well as a special toast and dedication as the Cathay Williams Memorial Marker is moved to its new location.

Free to attend! Come and join us August 8th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.
