✨ Thinking about tackling a 5K? If running one has been on your list of goals, this is the perfect race to achieve it. The Quinte West Public Library is excited to announce its FIRST EVER 1K or 5K Fun Run!
Join us for a day of family fun, community spirit, and superhero energy, all while supporting the Quinte West Public Library’s Outdoor Loanable Equipment Collection! 100% of proceeds support the library.

📍 Centennial Park, 12 Couch Cres, Trenton, ON
✨ Event Schedule
9:00 AM – Check-in & Bib Pickup (Centennial Park Pavilion)
9:30 AM – Pre-race Stretching Session
10:00 AM – Race Start (1K & 5K courses available!)
🏃♀️ The Courses:
1K Fun Run: Starts/ends at Centennial Park Pavilion Parking Lot.
5K Fun Run: Starts/ends at Quinte West Pop-Ups Parking Lot. A 2.5K scenic loop along the waterfront, run it twice!
💲 Registration Fees:
$25 per individual
$50 per family/group (up to 5 participants)
$10 for each additional child
(Kids in jogging strollers are free!)
🚫 No pets, please.
🎭 Costumes encouraged!
Bring your best cape, mask, or full superhero gear! Prizes will be awarded for:
🏆 Best Individual Costume
🏆 Best Group Costume
💧 Snacks and water available at the finish line + pavilion.
🌧️ Runs rain or shine (dress for the weather).
All ages welcome! Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this is your chance to be a hero for the library and your community. ❤️
