Small Explorers Story Time

Join us in Discovery Den every 3rd Saturday of every month for a free story and make a craft to take home. Story Time is designed for children ages 2-8 and their caregivers. Families are encouraged to explore the galleries on their own after the program with the Museum's Small Explorers gallery cards, available throughout the Museum.

This month, we're reading "Rock Your Mocs" by Laurel Goodluck, Madelyn Goodnight (Illustrator.)

This book is a happy, vibrant tribute to Rock Your Mocs Day, observed yearly on November 15, which celebrates the joy and power of wearing moccasins—and the Native pride that comes with them. Look for moccasins on display in the exhibit "A Much Moved People: Preserving Traditions of the Delaware Indians."
