Musical Chairs (a songwriter's round)

Tim Eddy, poet, songwriter and proponent for all arts and all things driftless, has gathered together a diverse group of talented musicians for our second ever Musical Chairs. This songwriter's round is now officially an occasional Saturday afternoon happening at The Hotel. On September 6th Shawn Neary, Abigail Towne and Jeff Kelly share the stage.
Abigal Towne is a promising young songwriter from Spring Grove, Minnesota. Her latest release, "Roaming Mind," has been making waves in the Midwest music scene.
You may know Shawn Neary as a member of the band Cloud Cult or The Medicine Brothers or Lone Goat Rodeo. He writes beautiful, brave, and intimate songs of justice and the poignant stuff of life. He and his family make their home in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
Jeff Kelly is one half of the indie folk duo Carriage House. They recently played at the Great River Folk Festival. He and his family live in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.
Music starts at 2pm. Come and please share to help spread the word. The hat will be passed. Any contributions made are greatly appreciated and will go to the artists.
