Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop - Traralgon VIC

Join us for the Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop in Traralgon Victoria! This in-person event will be held within Monash Rural Health at the Latrobe Regional Hospital, on Village Avenue (off Princes Hwy). Please allow adequate time for parking and arrival by 8:50am, parking is available across from Monash Rural Health (see map). Directions from entrance: go through glass doors opposite the entrance and up stairs. Turn right at the top of the stairs and the room is the first door after the kitchen. The Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop is an Australian College of Midwives CPD Endorsed activity offering 6 CPD points.This workshop is specifically designed for registered midwives but welcomes doctors, students and any birth worker interested in learning more about breech birth. The workshop will cover antenatal education, intrapartum and postnatal care, understanding physiological breech and identifying deviations, understanding research, ACM Consultation & Referral Guidelines and the Midwifery Code of Conduct, documentation, simulation practice and reviewing of breech birth videos. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding on breech birth. Morning and afternoon tea is included (no refridgerator avai;abel for lunches) as well as a 'Breech Consumer Handout' to give to expectant parents and a 'Breech Manoeuvre Guide' to add to your birth kit!
