Virtual Teen Grief and Loss Group

This support group is designed for teenagers who have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling. Teens (14-19) are encouraged to discuss their experiences with their peers, who are in similar situations surrounding grief and loss. This is a safe space to express feelings, learn ways to cope with grief, and meet new people. Connecting with other teens and knowing you are not alone can be a helpful step in the healing process. Group members should be willing to listen, understand, and support one another. Individuals at all stages of loss are welcome to attend. The group is led by Erin McMonagle, a therapist at PA Horizons Counseling and a School Counselor. Erin has 10+ years’ experience working directly with teenagers and loss. Group will meet on the first Tuesday of every month, 6:30 - 7:30pm.
