This special open house-style art show features original artworks by local artists, whose clean air-inspired pieces are to:
-- Inspire conversation around the health of our community, neighbouring communities, and surrounding ecosystems.
-- Foster connection and community in an immersive artistic experience while recognizing the support of local artists.
-- Spark reflection on the serious risk of exposure to dust containing asbestos and other contaminants while inspiring action to protect the wellbeing of our community.
-- Inform residents about our current course of action via short presentation sessions throughout the day.
Theme: A visual showcase of Clean Air. The air we breathe, vital and shared. Forests, water and the living systems that sustain life or all living beings. Asbestos, and the devastation and disruption of disease. Resistance, prevention, resilience, what's at stake, and what collective action can accomplish.
