MINKACON2025 is the event to working together to protect and preserve Japanese built cultural heritage.

Place: Aichi Prefecture Citizen’s Forest Park in Shinshiro city Aichi Pref. Japan
KOMINKA is a traditional Japanese house 50 to 100 years old.
Material used for Kominka are Pine, cedar, zelkova, cherry wood, chestnut, cypress, because of locally available and their strength, durability and beauty.
All the parts are assembled without using any nails instead, using Japanese Wooden Frame Technology Emphasizing Joint Connections
One characteristic of traditional Japanese houses is the use of massive beams and sturdy pillars to support the structure.
Seismic Resistance: The interconnected joints in timber construction allow the structure to flex during earthquakes, preventing collapse.
Sustainability: This method avoids synthetic materials and metal fasteners, prioritizing renewable and biodegradable resources.
