The Canal & River Trust Water Safety for Little Explorers campaign aims to give parents and carers the confidence to start talking to their young children about staying safe near water.
This event will include a reading of our water safety picture book, ‘Quack, Quack, Take Two Steps Back!’
There will also be free activities and resources, aimed at helping children learn about staying safe near water.
Children attending the event will receive a free copy of 'Quack, Quack, Take Two Steps Back!'
Free squash and biscuits will be provided for children.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
ACCESS
There are two free accessible parking bays in the car park.
The Learning Centre and Canal Museum have step-free access and level access from the car park.
There is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities located near the entrance to the Canal Museum; access is via the paved slope from the car park machine.
