Tree of Life Retreat

Our 'Creationtide' Retreat this year is focussed on the Tree of Life, drawing on embodied experience and spiritual teachings drawn from Christian Mysticism and Jewish Kabbalah. It will be guided by Wild Monastery/Church founder Rev Sam Wernham.

In the morning we will sink into some meditative time exploring the Tree of Life within our own bodies and in relationship to the beautiful trees in Brooking churchyard (weather permitting!) We will also have some study time, focussed on learning how to draw and understand a traditional 'Tree of Life' diagram. (Please bring a compass, ruler & pencil to join in with this).

After lunch (please bring a picnic/packed lunch) we will settle into silence, with time for reflection, journalling & creativity. We will end with a gently guided wild communion.

Booking is essential for this retreat day & it is offered on a donation basis (£60/£40/£20 suggested).
