How Now - Autumn - Open Day

How Now will be demonstrating their robotic milking, hosting farm tours, with lots of fun activities such as tractor trailer rides, a pop-up farmers market of locally sourced and delicious food – including a Hog Roast!

Farmers Market:

How Now prides itself on finding businesses who prioritise creating delicious flavours that nourish our communities. Who dedicate themselves to finding the best sourced ingredients; to carefully craft their products and where possible reduce their impact to our environment.

Our pop-up farmers market will include:

• A variety of cheeses - Stone Tree Dairy and Sharpham Dairy.
• A selection of soft drinks - fruit juices from Heron Valley, elderflower bubbly from Luscombe, BioKef's Kefir and Kombucha from BrewHAHA.
• A selection of fresh bread and handroasted coffee from The Curator.
• Penbugle Organic Eggs.
• Fresh vegetables from the Apricot Centre.
• A charity Tombola.
• And Many more of our Local Favourites!

Hog Roast & Refreshments:

All food will be locally sourced and prepared by local chefs and producers.

• Hog Roast - locally sourced pig cooked by Buck's - pre-book (when it's gone, it's gone!)
• Freshly made cofee stand from the Curator.
• Discounts on teas & coffees at Dartington's Green Table Cafe and Montreal Bagels.

Tractor Trailer Rides & Farm Tours:

Explore parts of the Dartington Estate not

• Tractor-Trailer rides will be running throughout the day to the Green Table Cafe who will be hosting Live Music for their 'Music without Borders event'.
• Two live Milking demonstartions .
• Three Guided Farm tours.

Children's entertainment:

There will be a barn set-up for children to enjoy the space. This will include:

• A chance to meet the calves.
• Colouring and activities.
• Children's Nature Trail.
