ANDY & TESS’S COCKNEY NEWS-UP IN THE LIBRARY BAR

Like a knees-up… but for news! Back by popular-ish demand, Andy & Tess return to the Library Bar piano for a raucous New Year’s Eve sing-song with a topical twist. Expect a gleeful round-up of 2025's most bizarre headlines, retold through big tunes, audience participation and off-colour gags. From Bezos’s wedding to Katy Perry In space, that Coldplay cheating scandal to painting roundabouts with the George Cross, we’ll be singing our way through the chaos of the year just gone. Think Have I Got News For You meets Hey Jude - with a pint in hand. It’s free, it’s funny (hopefully), and there are fabulous prizes for best heckles, harmonies and news-based fancy dress. Starts at 7pm sharp – done by 9pm so you can stumble upstairs and watch Will DJ. Just turn up – no booking needed. But arrive early if you want a seat !! Piano. Pop hits. Politics. Pint. Sorted.
