Scaredown in Downtown (FREE DTA event)

Scaredown in Downtown is an annual event held in historic Downtown Torrance, featuring games, contests, live bands, a DJ, Trunk or Treat, and vendors. The event is organized by the Downtown Torrance Association (DTA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of business owners and is entirely volunteer-run. It aims to provide a family-friendly experience for all attendees.

Halloween Mazes

HalloweenMazes.com is crawling into The Scaredown—bringing creepy animatronics and warm, fuzzy hearts! 🐾🦴They’re not just masters of the scream—this family-owned maze-maker builds “Saving Furry Lives” charity mazes every other year to raise funds for local animal rescues right here in Burbank. It’s a beastly good cause for our four-legged friends! Expect ghoulishly grand animatronics, hair-raising props, eerie lighting, and actors ready to scare you silly—or at least make you howl. It’s a frightfully fun way to help animals—talk about a win-win!

FREE Bounce House, provided by Don Hammond of Criminal Defense Heroes

Something wickedly fun this way comes… Thanks to the generosity of Don Hammond of Criminal Defense Heroes, the little ghouls and goblins can enjoy a FREE Bounce House at The Scaredown! Don isn’t just a hero in the courtroom—he’s a hero in our community, always supporting Downtown Torrance with care, professionalism, and a big heart. So let your little monsters bounce, laugh, and burn off their Halloween sugar rush—on the house (literally)!
