The Faith We Sing: Christams Carols

Get ready to lift your voices and your hearts this Advent season! Beginning soon, we’ll offer a six-week Sunday School class titled “The Faith We Sing” — a joyful exploration of our most beloved Advent and Christmas hymns, their fascinating histories, and the deep faith they express. We hope to continue into the New Year.
Each week, we’ll learn about the stories and theology behind the songs that have shaped generations of believers. Why do we sing “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”? What inspired “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing”? How do these hymns form our understanding of the Incarnation and God’s great gift of love?
The class will meet in the Music Room (first floor) — come ready to learn, reflect, and sing! No experience or special musical ability is needed, just a love for worship and the joy of song.
