Biology Tailgate Party - August 30, 2025

The first Washburn University Department of Biology Tailgate Party of the year will be Saturday, August 30th, beginning around 11:00 AM.

We will be located at our usual spot on the lawn outside of the Northwest portion of the stadium. So, come on over for some food and to mingle with current students, faculty, and alumni!

This Tailgate is hosted by the WU Biology Department.

Set up: 10:00 AM
Food: 11:00 AM
Game: 1:00 PM v. Truman State University (non-conference)
Tear down: Generally after half-time or near the end of the game

All are welcome: students, faculty, alumni, and friends. Come and go as you please. Usually, we will stick around until the game ends unless the weather deteriorates.
