NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY BEARD CONTEST CATEGORIES
Category 1 Double Dapper (Full Beard with Styled Mustache) Full beard, any length, with distinct styled mustache. The beard may be styled or left natural. Styling aids are permitted for both.
Category 2 Dandy (Full Beard 6 inches and under) The beard appears as it grows naturally. The more natural the better! The mustache may not be highlighted. The beard may not be curled under at the bottom! No styling aids permitted.
Category 3 Lumber Jack (Full Beard over 6 inches) The beard appears as it grows naturally. The more natural the better! The mustache may not be highlighted. The beard may not be curled under at the bottom! No styling aids permitted.
Category 4 Chops A true sideburn, no natural or shaven gap below the ear. Chin is shaven, however, hair on the upper lip is optional. No styling aids are permitted.
Category 5 Chin Hairs (Goatee) The goatee appears as it grows naturally. The more natural, the better! The goatee and mustache may be maintained but without styling aids. The mustache may not be curled. An area at least 4 cm wide (the width of a razor) between the temple and the goatee must be clean shaven.
$5 entry fee (paid day of) – Contestants can enter only one category. Registration will start at 2:15 PM. Judging will start at 2:30 PM.
