About the event

Community Garden Ground Breaking!

With the Tolono Public Library, the Friends of the Library group is starting a Community Garden on the grassy lot behind the library! On March 28th, join the community as we break ground and begin to prepare the land for planting.

Any volunteers with interest, skills, and tools are welcome to help us till up the land and place our perimeter around the garden. We will also begin placing the bricks that patrons have purchased and decorated on the paths.

**Please note that the rain date for this event is April 11. If the weather does not cooperate, will push the event to this day.
