Recovery Housing Panel – A Community Education & Discussion Event
The Cumberland County Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Council invites community members, organizations, and stakeholders to join us for an evening of education and open conversation about recovery housing.
Currently, Cumberland County has no recovery housing options, which often requires individuals seeking structured recovery support to leave the community in order to access safe and supportive housing. This can create barriers to maintaining employment, staying connected with family and support systems, and continuing engagement in treatment and recovery services.
This panel discussion is designed to help community members better understand what recovery housing is — and what it is not — while addressing common questions, concerns, and misconceptions. Panelists will include recovery housing professionals, community partners, and individuals with lived experience who will share how recovery housing supports long-term recovery, stability, and healthier communities.
This event is open to the public and will include time for questions and community discussion. Whether you are a community member, service provider, employer, healthcare professional, faith leader, or simply interested in learning more, your voice and participation are welcome.
