- 1968 Vienna Convention, IDA, IAA, and any other permits acquired online are NOT RECOGNIZED by Japan.
- Driving permits from Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Kuwait, Qatar, and some countries are NOT ALLOWED to drive in Japan, please check if your country issues the 1949 Geneva Convention Permits.
- Please obtain your permits before leaving your country.
