No partner needed, no experience required, and all ages welcome!
Join us for a community potluck at 6:00 and start dancing at 7:00.
To make this a welcome & inclusive experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you abide by the following House Rules:
- Respect our dancers: Prioritize our young’uns & old’uns on the dance floor from 7-8:30 (this is our dedicated family dance time). Take turns so that everyone gets a chance to dance.
- Respect the caller: For people to dance comfortably, there should be no more than 40 people dancing. The caller will let you know how many squares of how many people should be there for any given dance. Listen to them.
- Respect the dance floor: No soda, beer, etc. on the floor after dancing has started. Water is welcome everywhere.
- Respect the experience: Enjoy yourself. Take care of the people around you & the space you’re inhabiting. Share what you know, learn from others, & treasure the fellowship of a CommUnity Dance experience.
The dance cover is $5/person over age 13. This cover goes directly to the musicians and the caller, who bring incredible skill, expertise, and joy to every dance.
Water is provided in a giant cooler on the potluck table. To help us use fewer plastic cups, please bring a refillable water bottle! And if you're really cool, you can even bring your own plate for the potluck (we love y'all)!
