Vairankode Vela

The Sri Vairankode Bhagavathi Temple is situated in Vairankode, within the Malappuram District of Kerala, approximately 11 km from Tirur. The temple's annual festival takes place during the month of Kumbham. The date for Vairankode Valiya Theeyattu in 2026 is set for February 20, while Vairankode Cheriya Theeyattu will be celebrated on February 17. During this time, special rituals and pujas are conducted at the shrine. The annual festival at Sri Vairankode Bhagavathi Temple commences six days prior to the Valiya Theeyattu with the Maram Muri ceremony. The seventh day following the Valiya Theeyattu is recognized as ezham puja.
