JWCC will be on hand with a corn hole contest to give away LD Christmas Tree cakes, candy canes, and anything else donated for the fun!
Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place from 4pm - 6pm in the green space where we host our cruise-ins during the summer. The actual lighting will be at 6pm.
We will bring a couple tables to hold our prizes and use the existing corn hole board for the free contest. We can add a second board to help with line volume if needed.
I recommend 4-6 people. 2 people to stay at the prize table and facilitate the giving away of prizes. 2 more people to help a line to form, move the contestant to the age appropriate distance line, and hand them the bags for throwing.
A couple of people subbing in and out for warmth or bathroom breaks would be appreciated.
The game will work as each contestant gets 4 bags. If they land a bag on the deck, they win a candy cane or similar. If they throw a bag through the hole, they win a LD Christmas Tree Cake. Players can play as many times as they want but must always go to the back of the line when their 4 bag attempt is completed.
We do have a plan on acquiring tree cakes and candy canes but we are seeking donations for this event.
You all already do so much. NO WORRIES if this one is not for you. But if your heart says: “hmmmm, this sounds interesting.I think i’m in” then we greatly appreciate your consideration and helping.
Oh!!! and one last thing. I anticipate being packed up by 7-7:30pm. I would love to go as a group afterwards to hang out in town and get something to eat.
