What to Prepare: Come as you are. You will be asked to cold read from the script at auditions.
Show Synopsis: STRAIGHT PLAY
Four high school friends promised to be in each other’s weddings no matter what, not realizing that over 30 years later, these Southern friends-for-life would still be making the walk down the aisle to honor that vow! Hop on this marriage-go-round for a laugh-out-loud journey with these struggling bridesmaids as they navigate the choppy waters of love and matrimony!

All roles are open to any race or ethnicity
KARI AMES-BISSETTE (F, late 20s): a kind-hearted, spirited Southern charmer.
LIBBY RUTH AMES (F, 40s): A hopeless romantic, sweet country woman, plain-spoken, and guileless.
SEDALIA ELLICOTT (F, 60s): A gregarious, energetic Virginia hostess and life-force.
MONETTE GENTRY (F, late 40s): Kinda flashy, kind of trashy, Southern to-the-bone flirt.
CHARLIE COLLINS (F, late 40s): A tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, acerbic Southern free spirit.
DEEDRA WINGATE (F, late 40s): Headstrong with a dry wit, a no-nonsense Northern transplant
