New year or mid-winter?
The Gregorian calendar tells us that January is the new year, a fresh start, a time to push for dramatic changes in our lives, with action and movement.
But actually, nature's calendar isn't the same. We are still in the depths of winter. The body wants rest and nourishment.
This is the time to dream and plan for the year ahead - not to try and accomplish it all in the first month!
In this circle we will reflect on the last year. The things we loved and the things we don't want to take forwards with us into this year.
Then we'll think and dream about what we might want to create this year. Spring is for action, and if we get our intentions right now, then we an flow into more action then.
So this session is all about grounding, reflection, and intention setting.
Softly, slowly, as nature intended...
