Have you participated in EcoWild's wellbeing courses before or done similar practices elsewhere? Are you living with/ going through a health situation and need to build your resilience and feel better resourced? If so this course may be of interest.
Led by Jenny Mackewn and Emily Malik, it brings together for you easy practices to deepen into somatic / embodied awareness, and enjoy being absorbed in and participating with nature's patterns. Being outside in the woods all day, giving awareness to our own body's hidden knowing and intelligence, and joining a meditative wild art practice each week within an easy and supportive group will give you a well deserved reset.
You can take part as much or as little as you wish; if you need to lie down and gaze at the fire or the spiral roof of the roundhouse from a bench or hammock instead, that is available to you. Bring a blanket if you think you will need to lie down during the day. We provide sheepskins for seated comfort around the fire.
Note - this is not a therapy session and is not suitable for people with a history of PTSD or psychosis.
Morning - Somatic practices to include movement/ dance, song, tree conversations, practices to connect with instinct, intuition and body intelligence, with the second brain of the gut and to grow our animal sensing within the animistic, sentient and archetypal natural world which is available to us when fully in our ecological selves.
Afternoon - creating patterns with nature such as cosmic swirls, radiating stars, lotus, mandala, etc.
