Introduction to Top Rope Climbing
New to climbing or looking to build confidence on the wall? Join us for a beginner-friendly Introduction to Top Rope Climbing session! You'll learn the basics of climbing technique, safety, knot tying, and belaying in a supportive, hands-on environment—no experience needed. All gear is provided, just bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure!

BGC Meetups are intended to be a fun, casual way for self-identifying women of color and non-binary people of color to enjoy the sport of climbing in community. This meetup will include introductions, a warm up activity, plenty of time for climbing, and a time for reflection and debrief! A day pass for the the meetup is 50% ($13) off for BGC participants, which includes your day pass and climbing shoe rental.

Please wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movement. Athletic wear or sweatpants/shorts and a t-shirt are fine.

BGC meetups are women-centered spaces open to women and non-binary folks of color. BGC meetups are spaces open to all climbing levels and we love new climbers so please join us!

Complete these two (2) items prior to the meet-up to maximize your time climbing and being in community! It should take you less than 10 minutes to complete all three online!
