This Saturday, we’re gathering around the pot for a proper autumn ritual, cooking the traditional zacuscă recipe together with chef Ioan Bebeșelea, the magic ingredient behind our next Zacuscă Gose beer!
We’ll also host our annual Zacuscă Contest, where you can bring your own homemade zacuscă and put it to the ultimate test.
Only real, homemade stuff counts, made by you, your mom, your grandma, or that lovely old lady at the market who makes the best zacuscă you’ve ever had. (No supermarket jars allowed!)
We’re looking for the classic one with red peppers and aubergines, but if you’re feeling adventurous, bring your fancy mushroom or bean versions too — we’ll have a “Best of Show” section just for them!
And because no good zacuscă should go unpaired, we’ll be tapping some special beers to go perfectly with all the spreads and bites we’ll have on the table.
