An exclusive online course for aspiring mental health trainers is set to commence on October 25, 2025. Organized by the Turning Point Institute and the Association of Integrative Research, Counselling, and Psychotherapy, this program is designed for qualified professionals, including psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, consultants, probation officers, mental health practitioners, and other helping professionals.
The Diploma of Trainer in Mental Health follows an integrative training approach, enabling participants to cultivate their own unique teaching style. The two-year program consists of 14 modules, covering essential topics such as:
• Teaching methodologies
• The trainer-trainee relationship
• Group dynamics (trainer’s and trainee’s roles)
• Ethics in training
• Transference and countertransference
• Training models
• Diversity and multicultural competence
• Systemic approaches in training
• Organizational culture in training

Additionally, psychotherapists meeting the 240-hour practical training requirement can earn the European Certificate of Integrative Psychotherapy for Trainers.
