Join us for a community beach cleanup focusing on the beautiful lagoon area.
From 1pm - 3pm. Come for the whole time or drop in when you can - all ages welcome (with parent supervision).
💙Seaweek is all about celebrating and protecting our connection with the moana. Removing rubbish helps keep wildlife safe, and maintains this special place for everyone.💙
🧭 How it will work on the day
Meet: Park at Bridge Rd and walk down the access track to the beach and meet us there.
Briefing: A quick rundown on safety, the cleanup zones, and any sensitive areas to avoid.
Cleanup: Spread out in pairs or small groups to collect rubbish along the shoreline and lagoon edge.
Drop-off: Return your filled bags to the sign in area for sorting and disposal.
Wrap-up: We’ll tally up what we collected and share highlights.
🧺 What to bring
A rubbish bag (bring your own if possible; a few spares available)
Sturdy footwear for sand and uneven ground
A water bottle
Optional: Gloves, high viz vest, sunblock and hat.
