🌺 KAKAO & CULTURE WEEKEND
November 8 & 9, 2025 | Tempest Trading, Rosarito, B.C.
Presented by Alquimia Sagrada & Tempest Trading
⸻
🌿 Introduction
Hello beautiful community of Rosarito!
We’re so happy to share this beautiful and heart-centered gathering taking place right here at Tempest Trading — our annual KAKAO & CULTURE WEEKEND, happening on November 8 & 9.
This once-a-year event is a chance to reconnect with your heart, community, and the ancestral spirit of cacao — the seed of love and transformation.
It’s a weekend full of flavor, wisdom, and celebration — where food, music, and ritual become medicine.
⸻
✨ About the Teacher
We are honored to welcome Yazmín Arriaga, a beautiful and devoted cacao teacher and guardian of traditional medicine.
Yazmín and her team travel each year from Southern Mexico, sharing the wisdom, heart, and traditions of cacao through ceremony, cooking, and community.
With so many years of experience, her work weaves together tradition, storytelling, and hands-on learning, helping people reconnect with the sacred essence of cacao — from its roots to its modern expression.
This is a rare opportunity to meet her in person, learn directly from her, and experience her beautiful medicine.
She will be joined Viridiana Xipepapalotl, who will both support and share their gifts throughout the weekend.
⸻
On Saturday:
🎶 Music — SHAMBALA Medicine Music
We will also have the presence of 🪬 Shambala 🪬, a beautiful medicine music trio from Ensenada, Baja California, formed by Tati Pandrum, Gaby Bastida, and Delion.
Shambala blends ritual, movement meditation, and deep sound healing — creating an inner journey of transformation through rhythm and sacred song.
Their music invites you to dance, relax, and raise your vibration with ancestral sounds and heart-centered energy.
💫 Saturday’s evening concert will be donation-based (heart offering).
⸻
🍫 What You’ll Experience
These workshops are much more than classes — they are hands-on experiences that connect you with the spirit behind this sacred seed.
You’ll be:
• Preparing and tasting traditional cacao-based creations
• Learning how to make artisanal chocolates from scratch
• Exploring ancient Mexican recipes like cacao tamales and cacao mole
• Experiencing food as medicine and community connection
• Enjoying two full days of cacao tasting and celebration
On Sunday afternoon, we’ll close the weekend with Cacao Lotería, a joyful and heartfelt community game open to everyone — free of charge, with donations welcome to support this beautiful mission.
Some activities will have a small, affordable fee to cover materials and ingredients; others are open to all.
