The official Silent Book Club organizes chapters like our own as a safe space for introverts and extroverts alike to come together with their passion for reading. Next weekend, Silent Book Club is turning 10 years old and having a global readathon to celebrate! Naturally, we needed to host a club for the weekend, but we figured we'd do it in style.
How does it work?
-It's like a bar crawl, but with books instead!
-Bring a book (or snag one from your favorite bookstore), bring a friend and "crawl" around to each of our participating locations.
-At each location, you can grab a drink or some food (or just wander in for the vibes) and then grab a seat and read for awhile!
-While you're in, each location is offering a deal if you come in for the crawl as a little reward for being a good bookworm.
-Use this time to introvertedly spend time with friends and catch up on your never-ending TBR list. This is a chance for more readers to come together as a community to support our local businesses, shop small and get the heck out of the house for a day!
