Pioneer Workshop: Winter Sowing

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host “Pioneer Workshop: Winter Sowing” on Tuesday, February 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.

Volunteers from the Seneca County Master Gardeners will show participants how to sow seeds into milk jugs to grow during the winter season for spring planting.

All materials will be provided. Supplies are limited, so registration is required by visiting the online calendar at www.tiffinsenecalibrary.org or by calling (419) 447-3751. This program is free and open to all adults.

This is the first in a series of Pioneer Workshops aimed to evoke the self-sufficient lifestyle of early Americans in the 1700 and 1800s in celebration of America 250.
