Beekeeping Basics

Join us at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center to learn about beekeeping with presenters Dave Johnston, Sister Shirley Shafranek and Barrett Zimmerman!

This free workshop includes:
See the bees at the Seeds of Hope Farm
Taste test local honey
Learn about the equipment used in beekeeping
Discuss the parts of a bee colony and the parts of the hive
