Conversation with an Indigenous Traditional Healer
Students are invited to register for a free, relaxed and respectful question‑and‑answer session with an Indigenous Traditional Healer. Hosted by the Practical Nursing BPSO Team, this gathering offers a chance to learn about the role of traditional healers, the teachings that guide their work, and the ways Indigenous healing practices support wellness, community, and balance.
This is an open, student‑centered space — bring your curiosity, your questions, and your willingness to listen and learn. Whether you’re exploring cultural perspectives on health, deepening your understanding of Indigenous knowledge, or simply interested in meaningful conversation, all are welcome.
Taking place in room C258 in the Shuniah building, tea and light snacks will be provided to create a warm, comfortable environment for sharing and connection.
Also check out other Health & Wellness events in Thunder Bay.
