second annual Spring Refresher Riding Clinic for riders to bring in their horses and work with Randall Shirk on gaining better control of their horses.
This clinic will start with groundwork, focusing on:
Front quarter control
Hindquarter control
Backing your horse up smoothly
From there, we will transfer those concepts to the saddle and continue working on:
Front quarter control
Hindquarter control
Backing up
Speed control
Directional control
Throughout the entire process, we will focus on establishing a very smooth partnership with your horse — keeping you safe and helping your horse enjoy the ride.
This clinic is perfect for anyone who wants to get their horse on the right track for the season’s trail riding.
🕘 Clinic Hours
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Lunch Break: Noon – 1:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The clinic will be held indoors unless the weather allows us to use the outdoor arena.
Spectators are welcome.
Spectator price: $20 for the day
Participant cost with a horse: $180
Limited to only six riders.
Refreshments will be on hand; however, please pack your own lunch as we will not have lunch available.
Spectators, please bring your own chair.
