Join us for the Great War Living History Weekend at Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, PA. The 151 RIL, and other invited units and individuals, set up displays around the fort and conduct interpretation for fort guests.

Join members of the French line at Fort Mifflin for the 110th Anniversary of the Battle of Verdun.
What to expect:
- establishment of underground living, medical, and fighting positions
- presentation of gear layout tables and personal items
- public living history presentations on uniform and equipment
- TBD: fighting demonstrations, grenade training, trench clearing drills
- social activities at night (fête)
Impression: While 1916 Verdun is the primary French Military impression this event is open other impressions and time periods of the Great War to include civilian impressions. Fort Mifflin encourages creativity and variation in displays and impressions provided it is in the range of 1914-1918.

Arrival: options to arrive Friday night and Saturday morning
Sleeping conditions: in casements on wood bunks. Casements are cold so extra blankets are highly recommended
Mess: TBD we have in the past consolidated mess and donated funds to cover the cost of feeding via a small event fee. Pernot of the 151 has been the cuistot.
Event Fee: TBD but has been $30 to cover food
