Let's Get Cooking!

Join Nourish Colorado for a hands-on cooking class that’s all about good food, new skills, and kitchen inspiration. Together, we’ll prepare a delicious meal using fresh, local ingredients—and you’ll leave with practical knife skills you can use every day. Along the way, you'll also learn about how Nourish Colorado works to improve access to healthy food and support Colorado farmers and communities. At the end of the class, we’ll sit down to enjoy our prepared meal together!

Leading the class are Chef Jess Wright and Chef Taylor Frederick—both full-time Nourish Colorado staff with decades of culinary experience. Passionate about good food and community, Chef Jess and Chef Taylor are not only skilled chefs but gifted teachers who love making cooking fun, approachable, and inspiring. Get ready to learn from the best and enjoy every step of the cooking journey!

Here is our menu for the evening:

• Herb Crusted Chicken Drumsticks or Herb Crusted Tempeh
• Smashed Potatoes
• Cucumber Garbanzo Bean Salad
• Pickled Red Onions
• Chimichurri Sauce
• Apple Crumble
