These time trials take place on the Union Canal, in Linlithgow, West Lothian on Sundays over the 5 winter months of November through to March, weather permitting.
The time trial is an out and back race of 7km (4.2km for Mini Kayaks – U12s). Most paddlers take between 35 & 50 minutes to complete the course.
These events are suitable for K1s, K2s, C1s, WWR, Skis, SUPs etc & Lightnings, Mini K1s on the shorter course. Each paddler is given a handicap start time with the slowest paddlers setting off first.
