Can You Make a Meal Out of...?: Cooking with Fresh Produce

Join Illinois Master Gardener Nancy Gmitro each month for this fun series as we turn the spotlight on one special ingredient and build a delicious, creative meal around it. The hands-on class meets from 5-6:30 p.m. the third Mondays of September, October and November with a class date in December to be determined.

• September 15: The focus will be on creating a meal around fresh corn.
• October 20: We will develop a meal using autumn’s delicious apples.
• November 17: Our meal will include many uses of the versatile pumpkin.
• December TBD
