Join us on the spring equinox for a one-night-only experience at the historic Lapham-Patterson House.
Timed precisely with the equinox, this special fundraising evening invites guests to experience the house as it was intentionally designed—when sunlight aligns with key architectural features on just one day each year.
The evening includes:
✨ Cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and a signature equinox sangria
🎹 Live piano music featuring period sheet music from the Museum’s collection
🌞 A guided viewing of the house’s equinox light phenomenon
📖 An engaging program exploring Charles Lapham’s Spiritualist beliefs and how they shaped the layout of the home
🍽 A special equinox dinner and dessert
🏛 Time to explore the house throughout the evening
This is a new fundraiser created exclusively in support of the Lapham-Patterson House, which has its own dedicated preservation and programming needs. We hope this evening becomes a tradition aligned with the turning of the seasons.
Capacity is limited to 64 guests.
🎟 Tickets must be purchased by Friday, March 13.
