Rivers returns to the Fiddle this fall!

Born out of the simple idea to be able to play anywhere at anytime gave rise to central Pennsylvania’s alt-folk group Rivers. Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with just simple acoustic instruments, the power duo amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. Made up of Joe Schaefer on upright bass and Vincent Yarnell on acoustic guitar and banjo, they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers’ style is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for more. Now this folk slaps.
