Pain Management: Utilizing Traditional and Advanced Interventions and Proce

In 2023, the CDC reported that 24.3% of U.S. adults—nearly 1 in 4—experienced chronic pain, with 8.5% suffering from high-impact pain that limits daily life. These numbers have steadily increased since 2019, highlighting a growing public health concern. This trend underscores the urgent need for multimodal, multidisciplinary approaches to pain management. Nurses play a critical role in this effort by accurately assessing pain and providing individualized, evidence-based care. Through interprofessional collaboration and multimodal strategies, nurses are leading the way in improving outcomes for those living with chronic pain.

This event will be a great opportunity to learn about the latest techniques and treatments for managing pain. Join us at Nicholls State University- Betsy Cheramie Ayo Hall to hear from experts in the field and network with other healthcare professionals.
