Thetford Academy Presents: Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic
Thetford Academy’s Performing Arts Department proudly announces its fall theater production of Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic
and Magic, a fast-paced, funny, and heartwarming reimagining of a familiar magical story—from the perspective of the loyal and often overlooked students known as the Puffs.
Written by Matt Cox, Puffs tells the story of Wayne Hopkins, an ordinary boy from New Mexico who discovers he’s a wizard and is sorted into the most loyal—and often least celebrated—house at a certain school of magic. Over seven increasingly chaotic years, Wayne and his friends navigate spells, friendship, heartbreak, and epic battles while trying to find their place in a world overshadowed by a more famous hero. With quick humor, clever storytelling, and heartfelt moments, Puffs celebrates the underdogs and reminds us that being a Puff can be
truly extraordinary.
Join Thetford Academy for a spellbinding weekend of laughter, magic, and heart as the Puffs prove that even the underdogs can be heroes.
