The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association proudly announces the 5th Annual Wagonhound Trail Run. This event is open to all levels of 4x4 vehicles and is a great opportunity for off-road enthusiasts to get together and have fun! The Trail Run takes place on a 2200 acre private off-road park in the middle of Wyoming. The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association has partnered with a local land owner to create the first open access off-road park on private land in Wyoming.
This years event will start the evening of Thursday July 24th and end the afternoon of Sunday July 27th. We welcome you for any or all of the days you are available to wheel with us. Dry camping will be available on site. In previous years, the majority of participants have stayed on site. The town of Thermopolis is a short 20 mile drive away for those who prefer to stay in town or for anyone who would like to shop, fish, float the river, or soak in our world famous natural mineral hot springs.
The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association hosts this event free of charge for all participants. However, funding is required to keep the new private land recreation area open and we will be accepting donations at the event. Donations will be used for trail maintenance, establishing new trails, creating signage, and other various expenses. In addition to accepting donations, we will be hosting a fundraiser Saturday night with a dinner, raffle, and sale of event merchandise. All vehicles will be required to adhere to basic safety requirements and will undergo a tech inspection to ensure the following list of required equipment is present. You will not be allowed on the trail without a tech inspection. Please make sure that your vehicle is in good mechanical order. Tech Inspection will take place before being able to register and sign release waiver.

*Locker front and/or rear (Trails rated blue and above)
*Battery hold-downs
*Recovery points front and rear
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE TRAILS

Payment for dinner and merchandise is expected at registration. Payment is accepted via cash, check or Venmo. All participants will be required to sign a waiver at registration.
