Join Kritter Scouts for our first mini NATURE TOUR of the season!! Take a journey with us to discover patterns and textures found through an oak hammock. 🌳💚
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Optional extended care until
11:00 AM for an additional $5-10 depending on number of students)

We’ll kick things off with a small nature hike along with a game of trail bingo! Students will be given bingo cards along with some trail identification keys.🐛🐜
As we walk we will be collecting small objects with unique patterns and textures such as shells, sticks, and leaves! 🍃🐚
🧡🔎After our journey we will gather on blankets and students will use play dough to make impressions with the items they gathered and share their observations!
Have you ever looked closely at a leaf and seen its veins making a beautiful design? Or noticed the ridges of a seashell or the rough, wavy lines in tree bark? These patterns resemble each other and show up again and again in nature! 🕸️🌿
💫This is not random! These amazing designs are clues that a Creator designed the world with care. It’s like nature is telling a story— do you see the message in the patterns? What do you see when look down at your own hands?
🎨To wrap up our time students will make craft using their playdough and their favorite impressions from the day!
