Dear kendokas,
We had the idea to introduces a new initiative for women kendoka in the Netherlands to foster community and short training by scheduling seminars at various dojos. This is much easier and more efficient to organize. The initiative aihms to be inclusive by consulting with the dojo sensei/senpai and Donatella sensei to select training days that work for everyone.
This way we can see each other more often and train together. The male colleagues train on the same regular training day, and we have our own space. We hope you like this idea and will join us
on the scheduled days. See you soon!
What to expect
• Seminar Format: The seminars will be held on regular training days, creating space for women kendoka to train together.
• Participation: Anyone with a bogu is welcome to join.
• Food & Drinks: Participants will provide their own food and drinks.
• Instruction: Donatella sensei or a substitute will provide the class.
• Topics: Participants can suggest topics for the classes via the announcement page or chatbox (Messanger) emailadres:
