Thomas Pell Wildlife Sanctuary Cleanup

This event, organized by HRRP in partnership with Pelham Parks and Rangers, offers a unique canoe-based cleanup experience in the sanctuary.

For those who prefer to stay on land, the launch site will serve as a cleanup area. The canoe group will head upriver to the sanctuary and Goose Island to collect trash, with boats departing the shoreline at 9am.

The cleanup will conclude around 1pm, but late arrivals are welcome. Help us preserve the beauty of our local wildlife sanctuary and make a positive impact on the environment!

The easiest way to get to the site is via the BX12 or BX29 buses or by bicycle.

Car parking is available at the stables, location.

Bring sunscreen, bug spray, boots, water, snacks, and anything else to make the day more enjoyable!

​Please double-check the number of tickets in your order before checking out, as we’ve had some recent issues. Every person in the group needs a ticket so we can have an accurate headcount.

Buying a ticket means you agree to the waiver. Please complete waiver prior to event. Note: Every attendee must fill out waiver. If you have others joining, please ensure they fill out the waiver above as well.
