About the event

ROSC January Meeting
The Recovery Oriented Systems of Care of Galveston County is kicking off 2026 strong and we are inviting “People Who Help People” to join us for our first monthly meeting of the year.
This gathering marks an exciting new chapter as we come together after the election of our new Advisory Board and step forward in action to strengthen wellness across Galveston County and surrounding areas.

ROSC of Galveston County is an organization for organizations to come together. We exist to create alignment, connection, and shared purpose among agencies, care and treatment providers, prevention specialists, peer led groups, faith based partners, nonprofit resources and community leaders.

Through a ROSC, organizations can connect, collaborate, and coordinate efforts that support recovery, wellness, and long term community impact. Our monthly meetings are designed to be a living platform of exchange where real stories are shared, real lives are impacted, and real miracles continue to happen through collaboration and community development.

This meeting brings together all stakeholders including service providers, clinicians, recovery coaches, faith leaders, advocates, and community partners to support growth, reduce silos, and strengthen collaboration across Galveston County and surrounding areas.

Join us on Tuesday January 20th from Noon to 2pm at the Moore Memorial Library located at 1701 9th Avenue North in Texas City Texas 77550. All are welcome. Bring cards and pamphlets.

ROSC meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month and are open to any organization or individual committed to building a thriving helping and healing community.

Our 1pm speaker is Tylar Ward, LCDC CCTP CGCS Founder and Chief Clinical Officer. His work reflects a commitment to trauma informed care, ethical clinical leadership, and building effective systems of support that help individuals and families achieve sustainable recovery. This meeting is sponsored by Mark Jackson, CEO Executive Director and Robert Martinez with Shoreline Treatment Center.
